Godwin, founder of Yum Village, refers to himself as Chief Villager at the Afro-Caribbean hot spot he opened in Detroit. He went on to start Yum Village Market as well as food truck and catering business. He started his career as a mortgage banker before being drawn into the culinary world. Godwin has served as the Engagement Director for Dine Drink Detroit and offers his restaurant planning and expertise with food service licensing to Parkstone clients. Godwin has a BS in Management and Industrial Organization from Wayne State University.
